The leading problem with maintenance of Oriental Rugs is Biological Contamination. Over 80% of all rugs brought in for cleaning have Urine, Feces, Vomit or Blood stains. Pet Odor is one of the major complaints. Most cleaners are not trained or certified to clean rugs with Biological Contamination. Publications from leading groups recommend taking these rugs to a more specialized cleaner then they certify or train.
